Tony

contacts and over 20 years of professional staffing experience in
Colorado. He holds a BS degree in Human Resources and a rare lifetime
certification as a Senior Professional in Human Resources Management.
He is the founder of the Colorado Technical Recruiters Network.
After a successful HR management and staffing services career working
as an in-house corporate employee, Mr. Bengtson complemented this
experience by working within the consulting, contingency and retained
search staffing industries. Mr. Bengtson is recognized as a top producing
staffing professional that has gained Fortune 500 preferred vendor
status.
When starting
the company, Mr. Bengtson wanted to select a name that would represent
his dedication
and passion for staffing excellence—thus
the name Precision Recruiting. Because of relentless dedication to
excellence, customer service and an undeniable passion for staffing
services, Precision Recruiting has been recognized with several prestigious
service awards.
Professional Activity and Community Involvement
In 1992 Mr. Bengtson founded the Colorado Technical Recruiters Network
(www.ctrn.org). This non-profit professional association provides
a way for professional recruiters to work together to
reduce their recruiting costs and improve their recruiting skills. CTRN membership is comprised
of corporate, consulting, and search firm recruiter and HR professionals.
Over the years CTRN has donated
tens of thousands dollars in scholarships to worthy, financially needy students enrolled in technical programs
within Colorado. CTRN worked with many notable organizations to identify
the scholarship recipients: INROADS, National Society of Black Engineers,
National Society of Hispanic Engineers, Women in Computer Science-Denver
University, People with Disabilities-Community College of Denver,
Warren Village, and Decatur Place. Recipients reflect both the minority
and financially challenged members of Colorado who were making valiant
efforts to secure a career in the information technology field. One
of the more memorable recipients was a young woman with two very
young children whose husband was tragically killed. Trying to raise
her young family all by herself, this determined woman required some
financial assistance to reach her career objective. Because of her
talent and determination she maintained a 4.0 average and received
a CTRN scholarship every year that she attended school. When she
graduated a CTRN member company hired her.
